Removes sediment, chlorine, bad taste and odor from municipal drinking water. The multi-stage cartridge contains two sediment pre-filters and a GAC (granulated activated charcoal) primary filter that work together to remove sediment, chlorine taste and odor. The first stage is a 20 micron pre-filter, followed by the second stage 5-micron pre-filter, with a final stage GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) filter. The easily removable and replaceable single-cartridge filter has a 1000 gallon lifespan.
